HKOTF organizes thematic seminar on organ donation for schools and organizations.

HKOTF has partnered with a number of organizations in delivering school seminar, namely Lok Sin Tong, Hong Kong Transplant Sports Association, etc. We will also invite specialist doctors as well as organ recipients to share their experiences. In 2018, HKOTF made a first attempt in delivering seminar at primary school using an interactive approach.

The thematic seminar covers basic knowledge, myths and misconceptions, the current situation and system, other countries’ system and culture, as well as case/news sharing. Apart from delivering organ donation knowledge, HKOTF wishes to make use of the opportunity to increase our understanding on people’s misconceptions and concerns on organ donation, thereby facilitating our work in cultivating a positive attitude towards organ donation. Seminars can be conducted face-to-face or online to cater for different needs of schools. To date, a total of 272 seminars have been conducted, of which 263 were school seminars.

Apart from schools, HKOTF welcomes invitations from corporates and organizations to deliver seminars for them. Interested parties are advised to fill in the form below. If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us!
