On 28 Dec 2017, Rotary District 3450 held an organ donation promotion activity at the 52nd Hong Kong Brands & Products Expo. HKOTF took part in the activity as supporting organization and Mr. Derek Tse, the Honorary Treasurer of HKOTF, was the guest of event while HKOTF staffs helped distribute organ donation promotional leaflets. Mr. Albert Au, a renowned singer, and Dr. Ko Wing Man sang with other guests to raise public awareness on organ donation.
HKOTF set up organ donation game booth which showcased knowledge about functions of heart, liver, lung, kidney, as well as the number of patients waiting for transplantation.
Many guests attended the event to show their support to organ donation.
Mr. Derek Tse, the Honorary Treasurer of HKOTF, acted as a guest of the event to promote organ donation.
Dr. William Lee, the then-President of Hong Kong Society of Transplantation Council﹑Mr. Derek Tse, the Honorary Treasurer of HKOTF, Dr. Chau Ka-foon, the Honorary President of Hong Kong Transplant Sports Association took a picture together to support organ donation.
