The Hong Kong Organ Transplant Foundation held its 10th Anniversary Dinner on 13 September 2024 to express gratitude to the different community groups for their active participation in organ donation promotion. The event was attended by our supporters in the last ten years, including Dr. The Hon Leong Che Hung, GBM, GBS, JP, Professor Sophia Chan, GBS, JP, Legislative Council Member Dr Hon David Lam, friends from the medical and educational sectors, organ donor families and recipients, as well as supporters and supporting organizations, totaling of around 120 guests.

Dr. Kelvin Ho Kai-leung, Founder and Founding President of HKOTF took the opportunity to thank everyone for their recognition and support, which enabled the Foundation to achieve its current success.

The evening featured rich programs, including a music performance by Dr. and Mrs. Yu Chung Ping who played “Under the Lion Rock” and “The Moon Represents My Heart”. It was hoped that the two songs would help promote the spirit of love in organ donation.

Since its establishment, HKOTF has relied on a group of like-minded individuals working together on various projects and activities. HKOTF Vice-President Professor Chan See-ching, Vice Principals Ms. Li Kwan-foon and Ms. Wong Chung-wah, as well as Mr. Rex Wong shared their insights on HKOTF’s educational development and promotion work.

Looking ahead, Mr. Lincoln Yu, Founding Vice-President of HKOTF, told our guests that HKOTF will aspire to further deepen our promotional work on organ donation through educational programs, with a view to passing on the spirit of love, influencing life with life.
