 Learning Platform for Students

HKOTF does not only organize educational and promotional activities to promote the culture of organ donation, we also offer various types of learning opportunities to students, allowing them to have a deeper understanding of organ donation.

Since 2017, HKOTF has participated in the practicum program of Master of Public Health, The University of Hong Kong. HKOTF also extended the provision of internships to secondary students in 2019.

HKOTF participated actively in educational activities initiated by schools to help students gain a better understanding of organ donation. About 80 secondary school/university students examined the subject in detail with HKOTF via face-to-face and telephone interviews as well as written inquiry. Academic projects conducted by students included Independent Enquiry Study under Liberal Studies of Secondary School, university research project, online e-learning platforms, etc, hoping that the interactions could help deliver proper organ donation knowledge to students.
