Oral History of Hong Kong Organ Donation and Transplant Project

Hong Kong Organ Transplant Foundation (HKOTF) collaborated with the Department of History, Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) to launch the “Oral History of Hong Kong Organ Donation and Transplant Project” in late 2017. Under the guidance of HKBU’s students, the students from 3 secondary schools interviewed 18 stakeholders for the project.  HKOTF organized a Students’ Sharing Session for students to share their experience gained from the interviews and facilitate peer learning.

Based on the interviews conducted, HKOTF compiled and published a book in July 2019 named “Love‧Continued—Hong Kong Organ Donation and Transplant History Oral History for 50 Years” to commemorate the 50th year milestone whilst expressing gratitude to stakeholders who have contributed to organ donation and transplant in Hong Kong throughout the years.
