“Organ Donation  Journey of Love” Advertisement Design Competition Awards Ceremony was held by HKOTF on 1 November 2025 at 1/F Event Space in Central Market. Dr. Kellie So, Head of Health Promotion Branch, Centre for Health Promotion, Department of Health, was invited as the officiating guest to commend the outstanding performance of the students. Around 80 people from different sectors of the community attended the awards ceremony.

280 secondary students from 49 schools participated in the Competition. The judging panel was formed by representatives of HKOTF and 5 supporting organizations, as well as Prof. Eric Yim, Honorary Chairman of the Hong Kong Design Council. The panel selected the champion, 1st runner up, 2nd runner up and 6 merit awards, while “Facebook Popularity” was voted by the public among the top 21 design submissions. There is also a “Best Participating School” award to reward the school with the most participating students in the competition.

Dr. Kellie So praised the students for their design which transformed the message of organ donation into a series of warm and impactful advertisements. She hoped that they would continue using their creativity to extend their care for the society.

Dr. Ho firmly believed that the design process could inspire students to reflect on the true meaning of organ donation, which would help foster a culture of organ donation, enabling more patients to benefit from it.

One of the judging panel members, Mr. Dennis Hui, Immediate Past President of Rotary Club of Hong Kong Northwest, expressed appreciation to the design skills and creativity demonstrated by the students. He was pleased to see them presenting their ideas through the advertisement.

The guests gave the winners a round of applause for their outstanding achievement.

The prize presenters took a photo with the winning students and  teachers, expressing gratitude to their support in the competition.

Around 80 guests, including representatives from various organizations, organ recipients, students, parents and teachers attended the awards ceremony held at Central Market.
